Once one part of the Button-fix set is in place, the Marker accessories help you to correctly align the mating component without measurement. Markers are available for both Type 1 and Type 2 Button-fix sets.
The Fix Marker accessory is recommended when installing Type 2 Fixes, reducing the need for measuring and marking out. The Marker and Button- fix are assembled as shown and used to mark out the Button position.
After fixing the Button, the removable panel may then be pushed firmly against the marker spikes. The Markers will leave indents in the panel surface, which can be used to accurately position the Fix. Remove the Markers, which can be re-used when marking out the next panel.
